Alice's Adventures in Wonderland- book cover redesign
This project is a redesign of the book cover for Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I wanted to create a colorful and kid friendly version while keeping the dark and whimsical feeling of wonderland. I used playful organic shapes and gold details throughout the border to give the cover a storybook feel.
Sketches & Rough Draft
From planning the layout to building the final design. I tried different ways of using wonderland imagery before choosing the composition I wanted to continue with. For the rough draft, I developed the composition further and focused on the white rabbit, flying cards, and the path leading to the castle. This helped me figure out what the main elements were and where the title would be placed.
